Who is my student's school counselor?
We currently have 5 counselors at Copper Mountain Middle School. Counselors divide students up by alphabet according to the student’s last name. It can change a little each year depending on the number of students enrolled. For the 2022-23 school year, counselors work with the following students:

How do I contact my student's school counselor?
You can request to see a counselor from home or from school or email them (see emails listed above).
Who do students talk to if they are being bullied at school?
Students can talk to any teacher, administrator, or school counselor to get help if they are experiencing bullying at school. Bullying is defined as “unwanted, aggressive behavior among school aged children that involves a real or perceived power imbalance. The behavior is repeated, or has the potential to be repeated, over time.” Bullying is not tolerated at Copper Mountain and is taken very seriously. Visit stopbullying.gov to learn ways to talk to your student about bullying and learn how to prevent bullying.

What if my student is having a hard day? Who can they talk to?
School counselors are available in the counseling center to talk to any student any time they have a concern or would like to talk to someone. Click here to request a meeting with your student’s school counselor. Students are welcome to come to the counseling center at any time.
