MESA The purpose of MESA (Mathematics, Engineering, Science Achievement) is to increase the number of ethnic minority and all female students who pursue coursework, advanced study and possible careers in mathematics, engineering, and science areas. National Junior Honor's Society (NJHS) NJHS is an organization for 9th grade students who love to serve their community and who have a 3.8 GPA or higher. It looks great on college applications! Invitations to apply are sent during 4th quarter of your eighth grade year and new members are inducted each May.
