Mrs. Stephenson is an avid hiker and ultra runner who loves being anywhere on a trail, although she loves the Utah mountains the best and could not imagine living anywhere else.  If she is not off on an adventure with her family (5 kids and two grandkids), she can be found at home snuggled up with her dog reading a book.  She previously taught for 5 years in Granite District as a 6th grade English/Social Studies teacher, then spent 5 years teaching elementary PE at a charter school, and most recently taught Reading at Fort Herriman before becoming an 8th and 9th grade ELA teacher at Copper Mountain.  She loves sharing her joy of reading with her students and hopes to continue to do so for many years.
